"Alexis Prothro also known as TheModestGawdesss is an Atlanta based culture and lifestyle blogger. Her written works include feature writing, interviews, music reviews, and columns. Her passion for writing developed as a young teen beginning with poetry. Now it involves everything that she loves. She says poetry provided her with the framework for language. When her pen is not disrupting paper, Alexis spends her time in class obtaining her Masters as well as serving her community. She proves passionate about civic engagement and reaching out to young people in regards to education. This aspect of her life has inspired many of her stories. Hello, as a current senior in the finale of my graduate school marathon I am making the necessary strides to obtain my Masters In Writing and Digital Media. My graduate school journey has been one of internal activation. This journey has sparked a fire that burns deeply within me. I currently run my lifestyle blog which provides me with the necessary outlet to express my creativity and produce written content about all of the things that I love; culture, fashion, music and entertainment.
